Meeting Notice - November 13, 2007
All OPEA members in the Norman area are invited to attend this very important meeting with area legislators. Held at the Edsel Ford House on the grounds of Griffin Memorial Hospital (East Main and State), the event has confirmation of appearances from Rep. Wallace Collins and Sen. John Sparks. It will begin at 5:00.
OPEA board member Dixie Jackson is holding the meeting and pizza and drinks will be served. Members are encouraged to bring fellow state employees to discuss pay raises, benefit packages, the upcoming legislative session and funding and staffing issues.
Current Goals
- Work with DMHSAS to accomplish legislative goals
- Advocate for funding for state operated programs
- Expand worksite rep network
