Message From OPEA President Billy Moore:

 

 

Longtime OPEA membership director Dean Balmer has resigned.

 

For many of you, Dean was your first exposure to OPEA.  For some he was your main contact within the association.  OPEA is here to represent state employees and all staff will be ready to assist you with any issues you might have.

 

We wish Dean all the best.

 

And hope you have marked your calendar for Lobby Day, March 11.  See you there.

That is really bad news. It seemed like OPEA had turned in a good direction while Dean was there. Now he has left, it looks like OPEA is turning back to its normal wimpy way of doing business. I guess we'll see.
